Future Student Maintenance - Comment tab

Use the Comment tab to:

  • flag that there are important comments that staff should be aware of
  • maintain the comments
  • show an audit record of who created and maintained the comments.

 

 Opening the Comment tab

To open the Comment tab:

  1. Select Module > Future Students > Future Student Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Future Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the future student functions by clicking .
  2. Search for the future student. See Searching for future students.
  3. Click the Comment tab.
    The Comment tab of the Future Student Maintenance window is displayed.


Future Student Maintenance - Comment tab key fields

Field

Description

Show Important Comments Message

Select to indicate that there are comments on the student's record. The icon is displayed on the Student Maintenance window.

Tip: Click the icon on the Student Maintenance window to go straight to the Comment tab.

Note: A system beep may also warn of important comments.

Comment

Comments about the student. For example, 'Parents separated: student spends alternate weeks with each parent'.
