Current Student Maintenance - Services bar

Use the Services bar to maintain details of student support services including:

  • type of support service
  • status of the support service
  • support service details
  • parent and staff contacts.

 

 Opening the Services bar

To open the Services bar:

  1. Select Students > Student Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Set Current Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the student. See Searching for students.
    The first student's record is displayed on the Current Student Maintenance window. One bar is expanded depending on your last session or earlier selection.
  3. Scroll down to the Services bar, if necessary.
  4. Click the Services bar.

    Tip
    : You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

    The Services bar of Student Maintenance is expanded.

Field

Description

Support Type

Type of student support service. Type of student support service. See luSupportType lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Status

Status of the student support service. See luServiceStatus lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Lodged By

Community member that lodged the student support service application.

Application Date

Date the student support service application was lodged.

Details

Details about the student support service.

Referral

Referral details for the student support service.

Parent Contact

Parent contact for the student support service.

Responsible Staff

Staff member responsible for the student support service.

Service Details

Description of the student support services provided.

Service End Date

Date that the student support service ends.

Buttons

Button

Description

Add a new student support service.

Launch the Details window to edit details of the selected student support service record. See Adding new student support service records.

Delete the selected student support service.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Student Selector. This field can be used to filter students by any of the information displayed in the Student Selector.
For example to filter students by name simply type either the student's:

  • last name
  • first name
  • last name then first name separated by a comma.
    To filter students by year level simply type the student's year level in the Search Filter field.
