Description
The AllowFutureEntry configuration setting is used to determine whether attendances can be marked before the class has started. For example, if the first class starts at 8:30am, this setting determines whether attendance can be marked before 8:30am.
 

Default value
The default value is False. Classes cannot be marked before they are scheduled to start.
 

Controlling when attendance can be marked
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to True. See Maintaining configuration files. Classes can be marked before they are scheduled to start.
Note: You can set a small period before class that attendance can still be marked using the BeforeClassStartsMinutes configuration setting. See BeforeClassStartsMinutes configuration setting.
