Description
The TreatBlankAsAttendedFlag setting is used to determine whether the first click on the Attended field on the Attendance window is either:

Default value
The default value is True.
For each student that is absent, the user clicks the Attended field to mark the student as being absent . All other blank records can be treated as attended.
Note: When you click repeatedly on the Attended field, it toggles between , and .
 

Setting a different value

Clear the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to False. See Maintaining configuration files.

The user clicks the Attended field on the Attendance window:

• once to mark the student as being present
• a second time to mark the student as being absent .
