ShowPossibleReasonCode configuration setting

Description
The ShowPossibleReasonCode setting is used to determine whether the Possible Reason Code field (column) is displayed on the Attendance window.

Default value
The default value is False.
The Possible Reason field (column) is not displayed on the Attendance window.
 

Setting a different value
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to True. See Maintaining configuration files.

The Possible Reason field (column) is displayed on the Attendance window.

A teacher can select a reason for an absent student on the Attendance window. This is made available to the Attendance Officer on the Modify Absence Event window. In the following example, the reason selected by the teacher can be seen below the Reason field.
