Processing cheques
There are a number of different types of cheques that may come into your organisation and you process the various types differently. You may receive a cheque:
- From a debtor to pay off all or part of their account. See Processing cheques from debtors.
- From a community member, for example for the hire of facilities or payment of a fine. See Processing other (non-debtor) cheques.
- For a voluntary contribution. See Processing voluntary contributions.
- Containing a mixture of some or all of the above. See Processing other (non-debtor) cheques.
