Enrolment Deposits Maintenance - General tab
Use the General tab to record details of deposits received from the debtor.
Enrolment Deposits Maintenance - General tab key fields and buttons
Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Deposit Code | This is a drop-down list of all deposit codes that have been entered in Maintaining enrolment deposit definitions. The code description displays to the right of this field in blue text. |
Amount | This is the Default Amount that was entered against the deposit code in Maintaining enrolment deposit definitions. |
Amount Owed | If Refundable is selected, this defaults to the same as the Amount field and reflects the total amount of the deposit that has not yet been paid back to the drawer. When you enter a repayment, this amount is updated automatically. |
Tax Code | The tax code of the deposit. |
Student Based | Determines whether the Student or Contact tab is displayed. See Enrolment Deposits Maintenance - Student (or Contact) tab. |
Refundable | If selected, this deposit is to be repaid. For example, when the drawer's last student leaves the school. |
Original Date | Date the deposit was created. |
Finalised Date | Date the deposit was completed or repaid. |
Drawer | Name of the person who made the original payment. |
Posting No | Posting number of the deposit's creation (if via Cash Receipts). |
Receipt No | Receipt number of the deposit's creation (if via Cash Receipts). |
Donate Deposit | This allows or disallows donation of the deposit to a fund. If deposits are to be donated then the fund to donate to can be set in Maintaining enrolment deposits. |
Certificate Printed | Select this field to indicate you have printed a certificate for the deposit. |
Fund | Fund to donate deposit to, if Donate Deposit selected. |
Buttons

View or edit deposit codes by launching into the Enrolment Deposit Definitions Maintenance program. See Maintaining enrolment deposit definitions. | |
This will allow you to edit the Amount and Amount Owed fields directly. | |
This will save any changes you have made to the Amount and Amount Owed fields, and make them non-editable. |
