Staff Maintenance - Substitute bar
The Substitute bar is used in Synergetic to:
- set whether the staff member is available as a substitute
- set the campuses they can substitute at
- set the load adjustments required based on their current workload per timetable cycle
- view substitutions that the selected staff member has for the selected file year.

Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Available for Substitutes | Select to make the staff member available as a substitute. |
Campus 1 | Campus that the staff member is available to substitute at. |
Campus 2 | Second campus that the staff member is available to substitute for. |
Load Adjustment | Used to adjust a staff member's load up or down. |
File Year | Current file year. |
Grid area fields
Field | Description |

Date | Timetable date of the class. |
Period | Timetable period of the class. |
Class Code | Class code of the class. |
Class | Description of the class. |
Original Staff | Staff code of the staff member who normally takes the class. |
Original Name | Name of the staff member who normally takes the class. |
Room | Room where the class was held. |
Work Tasks | Information provided to the substituting staff member at the time of the substitution, to assist with the work tasks. |
Comment | Additional information provided to the substituting staff member at the time of the substitution. |
Original ID | Synergetic ID of the staff member who normally takes the class. |
