Staff Maintenance - Checks bar

Use the Checks bar to view and maintain child safety checks for staff members including:

  • registration checks
  • reference checks
  • police checks
  • working with children checks.


 Opening the Checks bar

To open the Checks bar:

  1. Select Human Resources > Staff Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Staff Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the staff member. See Searching for staff members.
  3. Click the Job Position bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

    The Checks bar of the Staff Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Check Type

Type of check. For example, Working with Children check. See luCommunityCheckType lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Required

Whether the check is required.

Status

Status of the check. For example, Passed - Paid Work Approved. See luCommunityCheckStatus lookup table in the System maintenance manual.

Reference

Reference number of the check.

Start Date

Start date of the check.

End Date

End date of the check.

Verified Date

Date the check was verified.

Active

Whether the check is active.

Modified By

Staff member that last modified the check.

Modified Date

Date the check was last modified.

Description

Add a new check.

Edit the selected check using the Checks window.

Delete the selected check.
