Overview of changes included in this hotfix package
NZMOE have recently released version 3.4 of the 2022 specification
This included changes to Appendix 9.2 B - Iwi Codes and Names (Page 28)
The changes made in this hotfix will be available in Synergetic v.71.05 and beyond.
Obtaining and applying the hotfix
We have created a SQL fix that make the changes listed above.
1) Download the fix from the link below :
2) Save to a location of your choosing, that you can access from your SQL Server
3) Open and run the patcher
- Open the zip file and extract the included exe file to your SQL server (or to a location that is able to communicate with the SQL Server)
- Run the exe - this will run a database patcher wizard which will take you through the steps to update the required reference data table.
- The patcher can be applied with Users remaining logged in and will only take seconds to run
3) Once the patcher has completed successfully, your system should be updated with the Iwi changes in the Reference Data set. You will now need to update luIndigenousGroup:
System > LookUp Tables Maintenance > luIndigenousGroup
Load > NZ MOE > OK
(Your system may not be 15.)
You will now need to Inactivate 1105 and 1106 and make the changes to any updated rows manually.
