Community Maintenance - Keys tab

Use the Keys tab to maintain keys allocated to the community member.

 Opening the Keys tab

To open the Keys tab:

  1. Select Module > Community Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Community Search Criteria window is displayed.

    Tip:
    You can also access the Set Community Search Criteria window by clicking
    .

  2. Search for the community member. See Searching for community members.
    The Constits tab of the Community Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Click the Keys tab.
    The Keys tab of the Community Maintenance window is displayed.

Note:
Fields in the Key area correspond to the selected row in the grid area.

Grid area fields

Field

Description

Key

Key code.

Key Number

Number of the specific key issued to the community member, if multiple copies of the same key exist.

Description

Description of the key's use.

For example, Key to Admin stationery cupboard.

Date Issued

Date key was issued to the community member.

Date Returned

Date key was returned by the community member.

Comment

Optional information about the key.

Currently Issued Only

Select to display only keys that have not yet been returned.

Key area fields

Field

Description

Key Code

Unique identifier for the key.

Key Number

Number of the specific key issued to the community member, if multiple copies of the same key exist.

Date Issued

Date key was issued to the community member.

Date Returned

Date key was returned by the community member.

Comment

Optional information about the key.

Buttons

Button

Description

Launch the Key Maintenance window. See Maintaining keys in the Human resources manual.

A new row is added in the grid area.

Edit the details in the key area.

Delete the selected key from the community member's record.
