Community Maintenance - Keys bar

Use the Keys bar to maintain keys allocated to the community member.

 Opening the Keys bar

To open the Keys bar:

  1. Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
  3. Click on the Keys bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

    The Keys bar of the Community Maintenance window is displayed.


Community Maintenance - Keys bar key fields and buttons

Fields

Description

Key

Key code.

Description

Description of the key's use.
For example, Key to Admin stationery cupboard.

Date Issued

Date key was issued to the community member.

Key Number

Number of the specific key issued to the community member, if multiple copies of the same key exist.

Date Returned

Date key was returned by the community member.

Comment

Optional information about the key.

Return key

Click to return the key.

Currently Issued Only

Select to display only keys that have not yet been returned.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.

Display the Community Maintenance Search Criteria window.
You can update the search criteria and search for new community members. See Searching for community members.

Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.

Create a new task relating to the community member. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.

Click to break spouse links for the selected community member. See Breaking links to a spouse.

Click to flip spouses and make the spouse contact the primary contact in the relationship. See Flipping spouses.

Click to refresh information for the selected community member.
