Use the Current Comms bar to enter and maintain the community member's communications.

Note: Only use this bar if the postal address is different to the home or business address, for example if a community member prefers mail to be sent to their post box.

Opening the Current Comms bar

To open the Current Comms bar:

Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
Click on the Current Comms bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Community Maintenance - Current Comms bar key fields and buttons

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Code	Unique code used to identify the communication. See Maintaining communications in the Synergetic Development manual.
Description	Description of the communication.
Comment	Comment about the communication.
Type	Type of communication. For example, newsletter or event reminder.
Method	Way the communication is to be sent. For example, posted or by email.
Date	Date and time of the communication. The Date Sent field is displayed as the Date field in the grid area.
Primary	Address the communication to the primary contact only.
Bulk-Added	Flag is selected if the communication has been added in bulk.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Create a new communication.
	Edit this communication.
	Delete this communication.

Common fields

Field	Description
Search Filter	The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.

	Display the Community Maintenance Search Criteria window. You can update the search criteria and search for new community members. See Searching for community members.

	Click to break spouse links for the selected community member. See Breaking links to a spouse.
	Click to flip spouses and make the spouse contact the primary contact in the relationship. See Flipping spouses.
	Click to refresh information for the selected community member.
