Community Maintenance - Action Centre bar

Use the Action Centre bar to view Action Centre tasks or notifications linked to the selected community member.

 

 Opening the Action Centre bar

To open the Action Centre bar:

  1. Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
  3. Click on the Action Centre bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

New

Select to view new messages.

Read/Actioned

Select to view read or actioned messages.

Dependent task

Tasks to be completed before the task selected in the main grid area can be started.

Status

Status of the task.

Linked to Community member

Community member linked to the task.

Allocated To

Community member allocated to complete the task.

Grid area fields

Summary of the Action Centre message.

Created

Creation date of the Action Centre message.

Buttons

Button

Description

Remove the link to this community member.

Reallocate the task to a different community member.

Start the selected task. This updates the status of the task to In Progress and updates the Start Date on the Advanced bar.

Start the selected task and launch the associated Linked To maintenance record.

Mark the selected task as complete. This updates the status of the task to Complete and updates the Completed Date on the Advanced bar.

Complete the selected task and launch the associated Linked To maintenance record.

Save the changes made to the selected task.

Cancel the changes made to the selected task.

Description sub-tab fields
Enter a description of the Action Centre task in the comment field.

 

Detail sub-tab fields

Date and time the task was created.

Self Actioned/Read

Whether the task has been self-actioned or read.

Actioned On

Whether the task has been actioned.

Actioned By

Community member that actioned the task.

School

Name of the originating organisation.

User

Name of the user that created the task.

System

The system or program used to create the task.

Created

Date the task was created.

Subscribers

List of users that are subscribed or allocated to this task.


Advanced sub-tab fields

Start Date

Start date and time for the task.

Due Date

Due date for the task.

Completed Date

Date and time the task was completed.

Task Status

Status of the task.

Time Spent In

Unit of time to be used for the task.

Estimated Duration

Estimated time required to complete the task.
 

Note: Use the Time Spent In field to determine the unit of time.

Reminder Date

Select a date for the Action Centre to display a reminder relating to the currently selected task.

Reminder Day

Select the number of days or weeks before the due date or after the start date to receive a reminder.

% Complete

Percentage of the task completed.

Current Estimate

Estimated time required to complete the task.

Elapsed

Units of time elapsed.

Seq

Unique identifier for the task.

The Dependencies sub-tab displays tasks that must be completed before the task selected in the main grid area can be started.

Community member allocated to complete the task.

Related tasks sub-tab fields
The Related tasks sub-tab displays tasks related to the task selected in the main grid area.
 

Workflow sub-tab fields
If the task is part of a workflow, the Workflow sub-tab displays the full workflow for the task selected in the main grid area.

Select fields in this area this area to display extra information on the workflow. You can display:

  • statuses
  • allocations
  • linked records
  • estimated durations
  • % complete figures.

Fields Changed sub-tab fields and buttons

Use the Fields Changed tab to view fields that have been updated.
Note: The Fields Changed tab is only displayed when you select an Action Centre message indicating that fields have been changed. For example, .

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.
