Community Maintenance - Education bar

Use the Education bar to maintain summary information about education received and qualifications achieved.

 Opening the Education Bar

To open the Education bar:

  1. Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
  3. Click on the Education bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Community Maintenance - Education bar fields

Field

Description

Education

Community member's places of study.
This is a free form text field.

Highest Secondary Level

Highest secondary level.
This can be expressed as a year level or a form, as required.

Last Year of Study

Year the community member finished their education.

Qualifications

Specify the qualifications based on the education levels achieved, using a free form text field.

Highest Qualification Level

Highest qualification completed by the community member. Values include:

  • Certificate I to IV (including trade certificate)
  • Advanced diploma/diploma
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • no non-school qualification.

Highest Non National Qualification

Highest qualification completed by the community member in a country other than Australia.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.

Create a new community member. See Creating community members.

Delete the selected community member. See Deleting community members.

Display the Community Maintenance Search Criteria window.
You can update the search criteria and search for new community members. See Searching for community members.

Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.

Create a new task relating to the community member. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.

Click to break spouse links for the selected community member. See Breaking links to a spouse.

Click to flip spouses and make the spouse contact the primary contact in the relationship. See Flipping spouses.

Click to refresh information for the selected community member.
