Note this SQL was not actively distributed.  It was soft released via this page and also being available upon request from Support.


Education Horizons Group has recently completed a SQL query to add Visa code 790 to the Refugee Visa list for MACS schools.

When run against the Synergetic Database, this SQL query will add 790 to the valid Refugee Visa list.

Please Note:

  • This solution is a SQL query only and does not include any front end changes within the Synergetic Application User Interface.
  • Please read this page carefully as there are instructions which must be followed.

Applying the SQL


These steps need to be done by a Sys Admin or equivalent.

  • Download the SQL file:
  • Save locally in a place that can be accessed by the Server with the Synergetic DB
  • Open and run the .sql file
    • Synergetic highly recommends using SQL Server (or equivalent SQL tool).
    • This is very quick and can be done while users are in Synergetic
