StudentTransferMode configuration setting

Description
The StudentTransferMode configuration setting is used to set whether students added through online applications are made Enquiry students, future students, or either. The setting determines which buttons are displayed on the Process Online Applications window.

Note: If the value ENQ or FUT is recorded in the ApplicationTypeCode field of the online application, this value overrides the configuration setting to determine which button is displayed.
 

Default value
The default value is 3. That is, both and appear and students can either be made Enquiry or Future students.
 

Setting a different value
Update the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.
Possible values are:

• 1 - Allow transfer to Future Students
• 2 - Allow transfer to Enquiry Students
• 3 - Allow transfer to both Future Students and Enquiry Students
