Description
The AutoUpdate setting is used to determine whether the priority of a future student's application is automatically updated or not.
Default value
The default value is False.
The Priority field on the Enrol Details tab of Future Student Maintenance can be selected from the drop-down list. See Future Student Maintenance - Enrol Details tab in the Future students manual.

Setting a different value
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to True. See Maintaining configuration files.

By default, the Priority field on the Enrol Details tab of Future Student Maintenance can no longer be selected from the drop-down list. See Future Student Maintenance - Enrol Details tab in the Future students manual.
In the following example, the Priority field is greyed out and read-only.

Users have the option of selecting the Override Priority field to enable the Priority field.
