UseApplicationCategory configuration setting

Description
The UseApplicationCategory setting is used to determine whether the application category attribute can be used with future student applications.
Note: The application category attribute is only available if you use applications within Synergetic.
It is displayed on the:

• Applications tab of Future Student Maintenance.
• Set Future Student Search Criteria window.

Default value
The default value is False. That is, the field Category is not displayed in relation to student applications.
 

Setting a different value
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set it to True. See Maintaining configuration files.
