Re-Linking subject assessment areas

Subject assessment areas must be re-linked to new curriculum strands when the curriculum authority (e.g. VCAA) updates their curriculum strands.

To re-link a subject assessment area:

  1. Select Module > Assessments > Subject Assessment Area Maintenance.
    The Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window by clicking .

  2. Update the search criteria.
  3. Click .
  4. Select the subject to maintain assessments for. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.

    The Summary sub-tab of the Summary tab of the Subject Assessment Maintenance window is displayed.
  5. Select the subject assessment area to maintain. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.

    The Area sub-tab of the Area tab of the Subject Assessment Maintenance window is displayed.


  6. Click .
    The Victorian Curriculum Search window or similar curriculum strand search window is displayed.
  7. Narrow the search criteria, if required.
  8. Select the curriculum strand in the grid area that corresponds to the subject assessment area used for storing the actual result. For example, VC2MST Statistics.
  9. Click .
    The subject assessment area is re-linked to the selected curriculum strand.
