Use24HourTimeControlsFlag

Description
The Use24HourTimeControlsFlag setting is used to determine whether to use 12-hour or 24-hour time on time-based fields on the Create Absence Event window. See Individual student absence events in the Attendance and absence events manual.
An optional 24-hour time format can be used. This allows for quicker data entry using the numeric keypad as the AM or PM does not need to be entered.
 

Default value
The default value is False. The 12-hour time is entered along with the AM or PM suffix.
In the following example, 1, 15 and pm are typed in the Expected Arrival Time field. Synergetic uses the HH:MM AM/PM mask to format the 12-hour time.

 

Setting a different value
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to True. See Maintaining configuration files.

In the same example used earlier, 13 and 15 are typed in the Expected Arrival Time field to represent 1:15pm. Synergetic uses the HH:MM mask to format the 24-hour time.
