Use the Enquiry tab to maintain the:
- original date of enquiry and priority
- preferred enrolment details.
Opening the Enquiry tab
To open the Enquiry tab:
- Select Module > Future Students > Enquiry/Future Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Process Future Student and Enquiries window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the future student functions by clicking . - Select the person the enquiry is about. See Searching for enrolment enquiries.

Enquiry Details area fields
Field | Description |
---|
Enquiry Date | Date the person making the enquiry first contacted your organisation. This field shows the current date by default when adding a new record.
Note: Your organisation may elect to use the date of the first enquiry as one of the criteria for allocating priorities to applicants. |
Priority | Priority the application has been assigned. Your organisation can decide how to prioritise the offer of places. Typical values include: - Existing Family
- Sibling at School
- Parent is Ex Student
- Parent is Staff
- Normal.

Prospectus Date | Date a prospectus was sent to the primary contact. This field is set automatically if you used the crspEnquiryProspectusPrint stored procedure to create mail merge letters. See Using stored procedures to retrieve Synergetic data in the Extracting data manual. If you clear this field, you can then reprint the letter that was sent earlier. See Reprinting mail merge letters in the Extracting data manual. |
Enquiry Status | Status of the enquiry. The enquiry can be new, waiting, in process or closed. |
Enrolled For area fields
Field | Description |

Campus | Student's campus. |
To Start on | Date the student will commence at your organisation.
Note: Set to the first day of the year in most cases. Set to the actual start date when a student starts later in the year.Applicants can be enrolled in more than one year / campus combination using the Supplemental tab. However, they must have a preferred choice. This defaults to the first application you entered. |
Year Level | Student's year level. All year levels are numeric and depend on your organisation. For example, 0 for Prep or Reception.
Note: Early learning centres such as preschool and pre-prep are allocated year levels 30 (3 year old) and 40 (4 year old). This is because year levels must be integers. |
Form | Student's form (if known). | Note: Maintain the values in the luForm lookup table. See luForm lookup table in the System maintenance manual. |
Tutor Group | Student's tutor group (if known).
Note: Maintain the values in the luTutor lookup table. See luTutor lookup table in the System maintenance manual. |
House | Student's house (if known).
Note: Maintain the values in the luHouse lookup table. See luHouse lookup table in the System maintenance manual. |
Boarder | Student's residential status. Typical values include: - Boarder
- Day Student
- Home Stay.

Full Fee Paying | Check if a student is full fee paying. |
