SES parent extraction settings

These configuration settings have been deprecated. They can still be found in Configuration File Maintenance, but they do not affect functionality.


When exporting SES data you can update the setting in Configuration File Maintenance to select parent records based on either the:

  • SC1 contact
  • highest ranked contact, sorted by the parent flag
  • highest ranked contact, sorted by the parent flag then the lives with flag.

Locating and updating the configuration setting

To locate and update the configuration setting:

  1. Select Module > System Maintenance > Configuration File Maintenance. See Maintaining configuration files.
  2. Type ParentRecordType in the Find field.

  3. Type the value that suits your organisation's requirements:

    Value

    Description

    SC1

    Select the parents using the SC1 contact

    P

    Select the parents using the highest ranked contact, sorted by the parent flag

    PL

    Select the parents using the highest ranked contact, sorted by the parent flag then the lives with flag.
