Excursion Maintenance - Absences bar

Use the Absences bar to view absence events for the excursion.

 Opening the Absences bar

To open the Absences bar:

  1. Select Students > Excursion Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Set Excursion Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for excursions. See Searching for excursions.
  3. Click the Absences bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Grid area fields
 

Note: The grid area fields contain filters. See Sorting and filtering grids in the Introduction manual. 

Field

Description

Name

Name of the student.

Status

Attendance status of the student.

Absence Events?

Whether an excursion absence event has been created for the student.

Buttons

Button

Description

Launch Community Maintenance for the selected student.

Delete all absence events for the excursion.

Create absence events for all students attending the excursion. See Creating bulk excursion absences.


Common fields

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Excursion Selector. This field can be used to filter excursions by any of the information displayed in the Excursion Selector.
For example, type ski to only view excursions with the word ski in the excursion code or description.

Delete the currently selected excursion.

Click to refresh information for the selected excursion.
