MailingFormat

Description
The MailingFormat configuration setting is used to configure how labels are printed for families when using a label report. Values are, for example:

  • 0 - labels are not grouped together by family
  • 1 - The Smith Family
  • 2 - Family Smith.

Note: If recipients with two different surnames live at the same address they are both sent a communication.

Default value
The default value is blank.
Note: Community members marked Primary Only are sent a separate communication regardless of the configuration setting.
 

Setting a new value
Type a value into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.

In this example, labels are grouped and printed with the format The Smith Family.
