Updating settings of individual Crystal Reports

Ideally, configure Crystal Reports before creating individual reports. See Configuring Crystal Reports before creating reports.
To update the general settings of an individual Crystal Report:

  1. Start Crystal Reports Developer.
  2. Open the report to configure.
  3. Select File > Report Options from the main menu.
  4. Click the Database tab, if not already selected.
    The Database tab is displayed.
  5. Select the following fields:

    • Use Indexes or Server for Speed
    • Perform Grouping on Server
    • Database Server is Case-Insensitive
    .

  6. Clear the following fields:

    • 
    Verify On First Refresh
    • Verify Stored Procedures On First Refresh
    .
    • Save Data With Report.

  7. Click the Reporting tab.
    The Reporting tab is displayed.
  8. Clear the following fields:

    • 
    Save Data With Report
    • Save Preview Picture
    .

  9. Close the window.
  10. Select File > Summary Info from the main menu.
    The Summary Info tab is displayed.
  11. Clear the Save Preview Picture field.
  12. Type the title of the report in the Title field.
  13. Save and close the window.
