Business Unit Users window

You can use the Business Unit Users window to authorise users for the currently selected business unit.

Opening the Business Unit Users window

To open the Business Unit Users window:

Select Module > System > Finance Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
The General tab of the Synergetic Financial Configuration window is displayed.
Click the Business Units tab.
The Business Units tab of the Synergetic Financial Configuration window is displayed.

Tip: You can also open the Business Units tab by selecting System > Business Unit Maintenance from the main menu.

Note: The General sub-tab is displayed. You can also select each of the sub-tabs within the Business Units tab.
Click .
The Business Unit Users window is displayed.

Fields

Field	Description
Login Name	Login name of the user.
Name	Name of the user.
Default Business Unit	Determines whether the business unit is the default business unit for the selected user. The default business unit is the business unit displayed by default when the selected user enters either: Item Maintenance. See Maintaining items. Sales Entry. See Entering sales. Purchase Order Requisitions. See Maintaining purchase order requisitions in the SynWeb Purchase Orders manual.
Purchase Order Authoriser	Select this field to allow the selected user to authorise purchase orders for the selected business unit. See Authorising purchase orders.

Users authorised to this Business Unit area buttons

Button	Description
	Add a user to the list of users authorised to view the currently selected business unit.
	Delete the selected user from the list of users authorised to view the currently selected business unit.
