Synergetic Financial Configuration - Business Units - Inventory Control sub-tab

Use the Inventory Control sub-tab of the Business Units tab to define the control accounts that you use for inventory items.
 

 Opening the Inventory Control sub-tab

To open the Inventory Control sub-tab:

  1. Select Module > System > Finance Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
    The General tab of the Synergetic Financial Configuration window is displayed.
  2. Click the Business Units tab.
    The Business Units tab of the Synergetic Financial Configuration window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also open the Business Units tab by selecting System > Business Unit Maintenance from the main menu.
  3. Click the Inventory Control sub-tab.
    The Inventory Control sub-tab of the Synergetic Financial Configuration window is displayed.

Description

Stock Control Integrated with SubSystems

Select this to activate stock control within Synergetic.
This is a separately licensed module within Synergetic. It enables you to create cost of sale information.

Allow Item Receipts to be Created in

Select either:

  • Creditor Invoice Entry, or
  • Purchase Order.
    This affects whether item receipts are created in Creditor Invoice Entry or whether they are created through Order Maintenance.

Stock Control Account

Account used for stock control.

Stock Movement Account

Account used for stock movement.

Stock Purchase Control Account

Account used for stock purchases.
