Maintaining postal addresses

Synergetic Management Systems are resellers for the DataTool's Rapid Addressing Tool (RAT) product. This allows you to either validate:

• addresses as you enter them into Synergetic
• your entire community database against the current PAF (Postal Address File) from Australia Post or New Zealand Post.

Before beginning, you need to review the concepts used by RAT. See Addressing concepts.

How to:

• Install RAT. See Installing the Rapid Addressing Tool.
• Configure RAT. See Configuring the Rapid Addressing Tool in Synergetic.
• Maintain RAT configuration settings. See Rapid Addressing Tool configuration settings.
• Verify the community database. See Verifying the community database against the PAF.

There are Crystal Reports available that allow the barcode to be automatically printed on any printer at your organisation, provided at least one current RAT license/subscription is maintained.
