Subject Assessment Maintenance - Summary tab - Targets sub-tab

Use the Targets sub-tab to:

  • maintain achievement targets for the assessment code
  • maintain the achievement target grade for the region
  • view the number and percentage of students who have achieved the selected grade.

For example, the achievement targets are used when the WAAR student results calculations are run. See Processing result checks and calculations.
The grades and minimum results required to achieve these targets are defined using the Rating configuration settings in the System maintenance manual.

 Opening the Targets sub-tab

To open the Targets sub-tab:

  1. Select Module > Assessments > Subject Assessment Area Maintenance.
    The Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window by clicking .

  2. Update the search criteria.
  3. Click .
  4. Select the subject to maintain assessments for. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.

    The Summary sub-tab of the Summary tab of the Subject Assessment Maintenance window is displayed.
  5. Click the Targets sub-tab.
    The Targets sub-tab of the Subject Assessment Maintenance window is displayed.

Grade

Grades A - E.

Result Min

Minimum overall result to achieve each grade.

Achievement Target

Target achievement grade for the region.

Count

Number of students who have achieved the selected grade.

Percentage

Percentage of students who have achieved the selected grade.

Delete the selected entry in the grid area.

Load default assessment targets.

Switch to the Area tab to maintain information about the subject assessment areas associated with the current subject assessment. See Maintaining subject assessment areas.

Create a new subject assessment. See Creating new subject assessments.

Delete a subject assessment, if there are no associated classes.

Open the Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.

Move to the sub-tab on the left of the current sub-tab of the Summary tab.

Move to the sub-tab on the right of the current sub-tab of the Summary tab.
