Copying and pasting information into comments
You can copy and paste comments from one student record to another using the
and buttons. For:- Overall comments these buttons are located above the Overall comments area at the bottom of the Results Maintenance window
- Topic comments these buttons are accessed by either:
- Right-clicking the grid area and selecting Edit/View Topic Comment from the right-click menu
- Clicking
Copying and pasting using this method does not use the Windows clipboard, so you can only copy and paste comments between students.
Note: Check your organisation's policy. Some organisations do not allow staff to copy information between student records.
Copying and pasting entire comments
To copy and paste the entire comment:
- Position the cursor in the Overall Comment or Topic Comment field that you want to copy, on the relevant tab or window of Student Results Maintenance.
- Click .
- Open the student record that you want to paste the comments into.
- Click
The comments are pasted into Comments field. The student name and gender are automatically changed.
Note: Synergetic displays the following message when there is pronoun ambiguity. .

To copy and paste part of a comment:
- Select the text that you want to copy.
- Click .
- Open the student record that you want to paste the comments into.
- Click
The comments are pasted in. The student name and gender are automatically changed.
