 Defining the result

To define the result value:

  1. Select Module > Assessments > Subject Assessment Area Maintenance.
    The Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window is displayed.
    Tip: You can also access the Set Subject Assessment Search Criteria window by clicking .

  2. Update the search criteria.
  3. Click .
  4. Select the subject to maintain assessments for. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.

    The Summary sub-tab of the Summary tab of the Subject Assessment Maintenance window is displayed.
  5. Select the subject assessment area used for the Result of the class. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.
  6. Ensure that Grade is selected in the Result Type drop-down list.
  7. Select the Overall Result field.
  8. Type a sequence number into the Overall Seq field.

    Note: You must ensure that the Result, Practical, Written and Unit results have different Overall Seq values.

  9. Select Module > System Maintenance > Configuration File Maintenance.
    The Configuration File Maintenance window is displayed.
  10. Use the Find and Include Value Field in Search fields to locate the OverallSeqUnitGrade configuration setting. See OverallSeqUnitGrade configuration setting.
  11. Type the sequence number from Step 7 into the Value field.
  12. Click .

 Defining the practical mark

To define the practical mark value:

  1. Select Module > Assessments > Subject Assessment Area Maintenance.

  3. Click .
