RegionCode configuration setting

Description
The RegionCode setting is used to enabling state- or regional-specific data integration functionality. Some Synergetic functions operate differently to meet the specific needs of each region. For example:

• some tabs are only relevant to a region
• some exports are only relevant to a region
• WAAR result calculations are specific to Western Australian schools.

The value for the region code currently needs to be set up as the State for Australian sites:

• ACT
• NSW
• QLD
• SA
• TAS
• VIC
• WA.

Setting the value
Set the Value to:

• WA to enable WAAR result calculations
• VIC to display the Government Student Number field on the Codes tab of:
  • Future Student Maintenance. See Future Student Maintenance - Codes tab in the Future students manual.
  • Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Codes tab in the Current students manual.
  • Past Student Maintenance. See Past Student Maintenance - Codes tab in the Development manual.
