Description
The PrivateList:ExpiryDays configuration setting is used to set the number of days before a stored private tag list is set to expire.
The tag list is marked as 'deleted' once it passes it expiry date but the tag list is still present in the Synergetic database. Contact Synergetic Management Systems to help to recover a tag list that has just passed its expiry. Synergetic deletes any expired tag lists 30 days after their expiry date.

Default value
The default value is 30.

Setting a different value
Update the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.

We do not recommend setting private tag list's default expiry to 99999 (never to expire). This invites users to use private tag lists when:

  • public tag lists are more beneficial to an organisation
  • constituencies or classes might be preferable
  • lists may be outdated or obsolete.
