Past Student Maintenance - Photo tab

Use the Photo tab to:

  • view the most recent photo of the student
  • review the details of when the photo was updated
  • flag which permissions have been provided by the parent to allow you to use the student's photo in external communications.

 Opening the Photo tab

To open the Photo tab:

  1. Select Module > Development > Past Student Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Past Student Search Criteria window is displayed
    Tip: You can also access the past student functions by clicking .
  2. Select the past student. See Searching for past students.
    The Personal tab of the Past Student Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Click the Photo tab.
    The Photo tab of the Past Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Modified By

User ID of the person who last modified the photo.

Modified Date

Date the photo was last modified.

Note:
If you define document classifications in the luDocumentClassification lookup table, changes to photos are recorded as a history record on the DocMan tab. See luDocumentClassification lookup table
in the System maintenance manual.

Source

Source of the photo.

Photo Type

Type of photo file. For example, JPG or GIF file extensions.

Web

Select if the student's parent has given permission for the photo to be displayed on your organisation's public web site.

Promotional Material

Select if the student's parent has given permission for the photo to be included in promotional material such as promotional displays in public areas.

School Publications

Select if the student's parent

has given permission for the photo to be included in your organisation's publications sent to a wide group of recipients.

Description

Copy the photograph to the Microsoft Windows clipboard. From within the Windows operating system, paste the photo into a document, as required.
