Staff Kiosk - My Professional Development window

Use the Staff Kiosk - My Professional Development window to:

  • view and maintain your professional development courses
  • approve professional development courses for subordinate staff members.

Note: You can only approve professional development courses for subordinate staff if you or your job position is listed under the Personal Development Request notification type. See Maintaining job positions in the Synergetic Human Resources manual.

 

 Opening the My Professional Development window

To open the My Professional Development window:

  1. Select Human Resources > Staff Kiosk from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Personal tab of the My Details window is displayed.
  2. Click .
    The My Professional Development window is displayed.

Name of the course.

Provider

Organisation running the course.

Start Date

Date the course starts.

Finish Date

Date the course is due to finish.

Venue

Location where the course runs.

Status

Status of the professional development course

Note: These statuses and their symbols are configured in the luStaffTrainingStatus lookup table. See luStaffTrainingStatus lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Course has not yet been approved, or status has not been selected.

Course has been approved.

Course has been completed.

Course has been rejected.

Edit details of the selected professional development course. See Editing professional development applications

Note: Courses that have been Approved, Completed or Rejected cannot be edited.

Delete the selected professional development course.

Approve a subordinate's personal development request

Reject a subordinate's personal development request
