Pastoral Care - Documents tab

Use the Documents tab to attach, view and remove documents relating to the pastoral care item.


 Opening the Documents tab

To open the Documents tab:

  1. Select Students > Pastoral Care Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Pastoral Care Maintenance window is displayed.
  2. Click:
    • the  icon next to the pastoral care item you want to edit
    • the  icon next to the student you want to create a new pastoral care item for.
    The Details tab of the Pastoral care window is displayed.

    Tip:
     You can also access the Pastoral care window from the Pastoral Care navigation bar in Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Pastoral Care bar.
     
  3. Click the Documents tab.
    The Documents tab of the Pastoral care window is displayed.

Grid area fields

Field

Description

Created

Date the document was attached to the pastoral care item.

Classification

Classification of the document

Description

Description of the document.

Source Code

Source of the item. Typical examples include:

Source Date

Date that the source document was created.
For example, if you are importing a historical picture you might specify the date when the picture was taken.
This defaults to the current date and time for new entries.

Source Reference

Cross-reference to the source. For example the name, issue date and page of a newspaper where the photograph appeared.

View

Click to view the document.

Delete

Click to remove the document from the pastoral care item.

Edit

Click to edit the document's uploaded file, classification or description.

Student name

Name of the student the pastoral care item is for.

Classification

Classification for the pastoral care item.

Type

Type of pastoral care item.

Category

Category of the pastoral care item.

Class

Class the pastoral care item is initiated from.

Method

Pastoral care method for the item.

Initiator

Initiator of the pastoral care item.

Date

Date the pastoral care item was created.

Follow up

Whether or not the pastoral care item requires a follow up.

Follow Up Date

Date the pastoral care item was followed up.

Confidential

Whether or not the pastoral care item is confidential.

Created by

Community member who created the pastoral care item.

Modified by

Community member who last modified the pastoral care item.

Email sent by

Community member who last sent emails regarding the personal care item.

Common buttons

Button

Description

Apply any changes you have made to the pastoral care item.

Close the Pastoral care window.
