Searching for job positions

Note:
If the job position is not found, click
to add a new job position from this window. See Creating new job positions.

To search for job positions:

  1. Select Module > Human Resources > Job Position Maintenance.
    The Set Job Position Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Type in the information you know about the job position.

Set Job Position Search Criteria window key fields

Field

Description

Job Position Code

Unique code identifying the job position. It is recommended that you establish a naming convention for job positions in your organisation.

Description

Brief description of the job position.

Category

Category of job position.

Note:
The job categories are maintained in the luCategory lookup table.

Active Job Positions

Select:

  • Ignore to display all job positions, including those that are no longer active
  • Yes to only display active job positions
  • No to only display inactive job positions.
