Staff Schedule Maintenance - Definition tab

Use the Definition tab to define the time periods and days for which a staff schedule can be used.

 Opening the Definition tab

To open the Definition tab:

  1. Select Module > Assessments > Staff Schedule Maintenance from the main menu.
    Tip: You can also access the staff schedule functions by clicking  or .
    The Set Staff Schedule Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the required staff member. See Searching for staff schedules.

Grid area fields



Time From

Beginning of the time period.

Time To

End of the time period.


Description of the time period. For example, Session 1.




Add a new line to the definition grid.

Delete an existing line from the definition grid.

Define the days for the staff schedule. See Defining the days for staff schedules.

Reset the schedule, using the time period defaults that have been set up for your organisation.

To set the values to the default time periods:

  1. Click .
    The following window is displayed.
  2. Click .
    The grid is updated with the default times for your organisation.

    The default times are configured using the DefinitionTime configuration setting. See Maintaining configuration files in the System maintenance manual.
