Maintaining parent teacher interviews

Synergetic allows you to maintain all of the information you need to schedule and conduct parent teacher interviews (PTI). Parent teacher interviews consist of:

• cycles

• a number of sessions within each cycle

• a grid of time slots for the staff members being interviewed, for each session.

A cycle is simply a set of sessions that are usually related. For example, you might have the Year 7 parent teacher interviews as one cycle and the Year 8/9 as another cycle.

How to:

• Search for a parent teacher interview cycle. See Searching for parent teacher interviews.

• Create a new parent teacher interview cycle. See Creating parent teacher interview cycles.

• Create new sessions. See Creating parent teacher interview sessions.

• Add a year level to a parent teacher interview session. See Adding new year levels to a parent teacher interview session.
