New Server Builds/Migrations

A server migration is composed of three separate tasks - server builds, server checking & data migration (also known as the 'cut-over'). The server builds are performed first and do not require any downtime for your current production environment. After server builds are complete, we ask you to thoroughly test the new server environment over several days. Once the tests are complete and you are satisfied the new server environment is working, we then perform the data migration. The data migration is typically booked in a week or more later than the server builds in order to give you enough time for testing. The data migration requires downtime for your production environment and effectively moves Synergetic from the old servers to the new servers.
