Running Synergetic or SchoolPRO on a Mac
Synergetic and SchoolPRO have been designed to run natively under the Microsoft Windows operating system. There are however a few third-party solutions to provide the functionality to effectively run Synergetic or SchoolPRO on a Mac.
Parallels
Parallels uses local virtualisation to provide the ability for the Mac to run any Windows application.
Visit https://www.parallels.com for further information.
Boot Camp
Boot Camp is a utility that comes with the Mac to provide the ability for the Mac to run the Windows operating system directly as well as the Mac operating system. Whilst running Windows, the Mac can effectively run any Windows application.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Virtual desktops infrastructure such as VMware VDI and terminal services such as Citrix Server use remote virtualisation to deliver Windows applications hosted on remote server infrastructure. This requires investing in additional server equipment and technologies for servers to host and run the Windows application remotely.

Mac with M1 processors are not supported
Please note the M1 is an ARM (Advanced RISC Machine) processor and can only run the ARM version of Windows. Only a small subset of Windows applications are able to run in this environment. Unfortunately Synergetic and SchoolPRO are not able to run under Windows ARM.
