Description
The AcrobatDetectHTML configuration setting defines the message regarding the use of Adobe Acrobat on the portal and link for users to download the latest version. This message is displayed wherever the {AcrobatDetectDownload} replaceable field is entered. See Using CustomHTML.
Default value
The default value for the AcrobatDetectHTML configuration setting is <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html" target="_blank"><img src="images/acrobat.jpg" border="0"></a><br>This site uses Adobe Acrobat. To Download click on the logo or <a href="Html\detect.html" target="_blank">detect</a> .
This displays the message This site uses Adobe Acrobat. To Download click on the logo or detect and a link to download Adobe Acrobat.
Setting a different value
Type the message into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
Note: The text must conform to HTML standards so that it is displayed without error.
Tip: You can use replaceable fields as placeholders for values that are read from the database according to which user is viewing the page. For example, if {StudentFullName} is entered, it is replaced with the full name of the relevant student. See Using CustomHTML.
