General settings
You can customise generally how the Community Portal appears and functions to suit your organisation's needs.
How to:
- Edit the configuration xml file. See Editing the SynCommPortal.xml configuration file.
- Configure the IIS server registry settings. See IIS server registry settings.
- Customise the academic period displayed by the portal. See Configuring the year and semester to display.
- Customise what information is displayed for each year level. See Customising the portal per year level.
- Customise whether future and past students are shown in the portal. See Configuring the students displayed in the portal.
- Use the Community Portal Admin Panel to set the attributes of the main menu and side menu. See Using the Admin Panel.
- Configure how the side menu appears. See Configuring the side menu.
- Customise the information displayed when the portal is undergoing maintenance. See Customising maintenance messages.
