Using the Admin Panel

If the community member is listed as an Admin user in the Community Portal XML file or is given group user security permission for CommunityPortalAdminPanel, then the Admin Panel is displayed above the Synergetic banner when they log in to the Community Portal.


Tip
: Admin user logins are separated by commas between the <AdminUserNames></AdminUserNames> tags in the XML configuration file. See Editing the SynCommPortal.xml configuration file.


Tip:
You can also access the Admin Panel if you have been assigned the CommunityPortalAdminPanel security resource in Group/User Security Maintenance. See Group Security Maintenance - Groups View in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

You can...

Disable Cache

Disable the caching of data at an application level.

Create Userforms

Writes portal user forms that have been created in SynWeb user form maintenance and saved to the Portal Site/UserForms directory. See Creating a user form in SynWeb in the SynWeb System maintenance manual.

Reload Config

Reload the Community Portal configuration settings. See General settings.

Configuration

Update selected Community Portal configuration settings.

Impersonate

Use impersonate to view the Community Portal as a different community member. See Viewing the Community Portal as a different community member.

About

Cache KeysView the lookup table, data table and configuration setting values currently cached by the Community Portal server. See Viewing values cached by the Community Portal.
