Medical Maintenance - Action Centre tab

Use the Action Centre tab to view tasks detailing medical details entered or updated by community members on the Community Portal. You can:

  • accept or reject changes
  • allocate tasks to community members
  • view task descriptions
  • view task details
  • set advanced task details
  • view task dependencies
  • view related tasks.

 

 Opening the Action Centre tab

To open the Action Centre tab:

  1. Open the Medical tab from one of the following maintenance windows:
     Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Current students manual.
    • Future Student Maintenance. See Future Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Future students manual.
    • Past Student Maintenance. See Past Student Maintenance - Medical tab in the Past students manual.
    • Staff Maintenance. See Staff Maintenance - Medical tab in the Human resources manual.
  2. Click .
    The Summary tab of the Medical Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Click the Action Centre tab.
    The Action Centre tab of Medical Maintenance is displayed.

    Tip: Click the Action Centre icon to quickly navigate to the Action Centre tab to view items linked to the currently selected community member.


Current Student Maintenance - Action Centre tab key fields and buttons

Community member allocated to complete the medical action centre task.

Note:
Clicking
automatically allocates the community ID linked to the current Synergetic user. Click to assign to another community member.

Launch Community Maintenance for the displayed record.

Launch the Find Name on Community window to reallocate the medical action centre task to a different community member.

Apply change selections in the grid area to the linked medical record.

Start the selected medical action centre task.

Note:
Clicking
automatically allocates the community ID linked to the current Synergetic user. Click to assign to another community member.

Mark the selected medical action centre task as complete.

Open the medical action centre task in the User Task window.

Delete the selected medical action centre task.

Apply changes to the selected medical action centre task.

Cancel changes to the selected medical action centre task.

Detail sub-tab fields

Date the task was created.

Self Actioned/Read

Whether the task has been self-actioned or read.

Actioned

Whether the task has been actioned.

Actioned By

Community member that actioned the task.

School

Name of the originating organisation.

User

Synergetic user that created the task.

System

The system/program used to create the task.

Created

Date the task was created.

Subscriber

Subscribers to the task. See Group Security Maintenance - Users view in the System maintenance manual.


Advanced sub-tab fields

Field

Description

Start Date

Start date for the task.

Due Date

Due date for the task.

Completed Date

Date the task was completed.

Task Status

Status of the task.

Time Spent In

Unit of time to be used for the task.

Estimated Duration

Estimated time required to complete the task.

Note:
Use the Time Spent In field to determine the unit of time.

Reminder Date

Select a date for the Action Centre to display a reminder relating to the currently selected task.

Reminder

Select to set a task reminder to display the specified number of weekdays, days or weeks either:

  • before the due date
  • after the start date.

% Complete

Percentage of the task completed.

Current Estimate

Estimated time required to complete the task.

Elapsed

Amount of time elapsed.

Seq

Unique identifier for the task.


Dependencies sub-tab fields
The Dependencies sub-tab displays tasks that must be completed before the task selected in the main grid area can be started.
