Medical Maintenance for the medical centre

The Medical Maintenance program can be used in the medical centre or sick bay to:

  • access medical information about students or staff members
  • record details of medical incidents
  • record the times that students or staff are present in the sick bay by signing them in and out
  • create relevant absence events
  • view emergency contact details for a community member.

The Medical Maintenance program does not allow access to other types of personal non-medical information about the students or staff members.

Maintain details including:

  • allergy type
  • allergy severity
  • allergy treatment.

Maintain records of medical consent provided by parents.


  • public medical alerts, for example a medical disability
  • contact details for the person's dentist
  • medical details and incidents.

Maintain contact details for:

  • the student's preferred doctor for medical attention
  • an optional alternative doctor or a specialist for a medical condition
  • the student's preferred dentist.

Maintain contact details for primary and additional contacts, particularly parents.

Maintain details of up to three people who can be contacted in the event of an emergency.

Maintain documents, spreadsheets and pictures linked to a student's medical record.

Maintain any custom user forms created for Medical Maintenance.

Display the student's timetable and special events for the specified date. This tab can be used to locate a student at any time during the day.

View changes made to the student's medical record.

Maintain details about the ability of students to perform physical activities.

Maintain medical details entered online by Community Portal users.

Maintain medical plans to manage medical conditions at your organisation.
