Current Student Maintenance - Career tab

Use the Career tab to maintain the details of student career plans including:

Opening the Career tab

To open the Career tab:

Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking .
Search for the student. See Searching for existing students in the Current students manual.
Click the Career tab.

Fields

Field	Description
Type	Type of career plan. See the luCareerPlanType lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
Transition statement	Description of the career transition to be achieved by the career plan. For example, Aden will take subjects focusing on IT and graphic design to prepare for a tertiary-level web design course at RMIT University.
Subject selections	Subjects selections linked to the career plan.
Goals	Goals to be achieved by the career plan.
Milestones	Milestones of the career plan.
Experience	Experience related to the career plan.
Skills and abilities	Skills and abilities related to the career plan.
Completed courses	Courses completed in relation to the career plan.
