International Baccalaureate field removed from UI screens,
remains in the database
Two new fields
International Baccalaureate (IB) Field
The International Baccalaureate (IB) field has been removed from all User Interfaces. The field underlying the checkbox remains.
The IB flag has been replaced functionally in the UI with the Learning Pathway field (see Learning Pathway section below). If a student is an IB student this is now recorded using an IB row in the Learning Pathway drop down.
If a school has International Baccalaureate (IB) students, configure an IB row in luLearningPathway and assign the Synergy Meaning of IB.
The system will ensure that if the student has a Learning Pathway:
with Synergy Meaning = 'IB', the legacy IB Flag field will be 'On'.
without Synergy Meaning = 'IB', the legacy IB Flag field will be 'Off'.
Learning Pathway
The International Baccalaureate checkbox has been removed from tabs throughout Synergetic and replaced with Learning Pathway.
International Baccalaureate field still remains in the database and can be queried, through MS-Query or SQL, etc.
The Learning Pathway is a Look Up Table, configurable by the School. The QCAA codes shown below must be configured for QCAA reporting to work. For schools to record International Baccalaureate students, International Baccalaureate must exist in luLearningPathway with the Synergy Meaning of IB. This configuration is also able to be completed in SynWeb via System > Interface Settings > QCAA Interface
Learning Pathway is reported to QCAA as Intended Learning Option.

Documents Sighted
Added to the International tab in the relevant maintenance screens. Allows recording that the visa documents have been sighted, for reporting to QCAA.
