Co-Curricular Maintenance - Schedule bar

Use the Schedule bar to:

  • add co-curricular events
  • view co-curricular event details
  • edit co-curricular event details
  • review medical alerts for students participating in co-curricular events
  • confirm co-curricular teams
  • enter co-curricular attendance.

Note: The information displayed depends on which category is selected in the co-curricular selector.


Note: When a co-curricular activity is scheduled the schedule records for the staff members assigned to the co-curricular activity are automatically updated in Staff Schedule Maintenance. See Maintaining co-curricular activities in the Synergetic Curriculum manual.

 Opening the Schedule bar

To open the Schedule bar:

  1. Select Curriculum > Co-Curricular Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.

  2. Note: Your organisation may have several Co-Curricular Maintenance modules. Select the module that relates to the co-curricular program you want to maintain. 

    The Set Co-Curricular Search Criteria window is displayed.
  3. Search for the co-curricular program. See Searching for co-curricular programs.
  4. Click the Schedule bar.

     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Student Filters area fields and buttons
Select All in the co-curricular selector to view these fields.

You need permissions to the AllFilters security resources to view the All category. See the Group/User Security Maintenance - Groups View in the Synergetic
System maintenance manual.





Select to filter by campus.

Event Type

Select to filter by event type.

Number of Students From/To

Select to filter based on a number range of students in the event.

Number of Restricted Students From/To

Select to filter based on a number range of restricted students in the event.

Year Level

Select to filter by year level.

Age Group

Select to filter by age group.

Date From/To

Select to filter by the date of the event.

Team Confirmed

Select to filter based on whether the team or group has been confirmed.

Attendances Entered

Select to filter based on whether attendances have been marked.

Results Entered

Select to filter based on whether results have been entered.


Select to filter by category level. See Understanding co-curricular terminology.




Clear selected filters.

Search for students based on current filter selections.

Schedule area fields

Category fields are only visible when the All category is selected in the co-curricular selector.



Category one

Level one co-curricular category. For example, Sport.

Category two

Level two co-curricular category. For example, Squad.

Category three

Level three co-curricular category. For example, Team.


Date of the event.


Time of the event.


Staff member responsible for managing the event.

Event Type

Type of event. For example, Live match. See the luStaffScheduleTypes lookup table.


Comment about the event.


Number of students in the event.


Whether the co-curricular team or group has been confirmed for the event.


Whether the co-curricular team or group has attended the event.


If the event is a competition, the opponent for the event.

Match Notes

Training notes related to the event.


Results of the event.

Schedule area buttons



Add a new co-curricular event. See Scheduling co-curricular events.

Delete the selected event.

Launch the Edit Schedule window to edit the details of the scheduled event.

Remove all scheduled co-curricular events.

Reset team confirmations including any medical read confirmations for the selected co-curricular event.

Launch the Send Email window to email the staff member responsible for the co-curricular program. See Sending emails and SMS messages from grids in the Introduction manual.

Students area fields




Name of the student.


Role of the student in the co-curricular event.


Whether the student has a restricted activity or medical alert. You can click:

  • Medical alert icon to display medical condition details

    Tip: You can define the severity including the displayed colour using the luMedicalConditionSeverity lookup table. See the luMedicalConditionSeverity lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
  • Restricted activities icon to display restricted activity details.

    Note: You can determine which medical alerts are displayed in SynWeb using the Visibility field on the Condition sub-tab of the Medical Condition tab. See the Medical Maintenance - Medical Condition tab - Condition sub-tab in the Synergetic Medical details manual.

Medical Read

Date the student's medical record was read.


Whether the student attended the co-curricular event.


Community ID of the student.

Students area buttons



Delete the selected co-curricular event.

Enter attendance for the scheduled co-curricular event.

Launch the Confirm Team window to confirm the selected co-curricular team.

You cannot confirm the team until all medical notifications in the Restricted field have been marked as read.
